Hi, I have a question.

How to avoid chargeback on paypal?

How does it work?

Is there a way to defend yourself against this?

And when does the customer ask for it? In which cases?

I know I should upload a tracking number to let them know that the shipment was or wasn't delivered.

a chargeback come from the buyer 's cc issuer,Paypal will be notified and Paypal will notify you and ask you to provide some information.
The cc issuer will evaluate the case and decide,if you lose,Paypal will take the payment from your Paypal account plus $20 chargeback fee.
How do you defend your self?
if it is INR,then provide tracking,no gurantee you will win even if tracking shows delivered.
If INAD,buyer may be asked to return the item to you,OR may not,depends on what he t old his cc issuer,like you have no return policy or you are a Jerk AND Refuse to accept return,then he keeps the item and his money.
So it is always a good idea to settle with the buyer and do not let him go to his cc issuer,

Very difficult to avoid it when the customer does it - defense would include valid tracking number, ADDRESSING customer concerns before a chargeback is initiated, etc

That's it. That's the way to go.
But still you can face chargeback. It's a risk, that you should take in account in your calculation.

All you can do is ship fast and get delivery confirmation. Anything above $100 I always use a signature confirmation.

At the end of the day, chargebacks are rare and when one occurs just hope that when you lose, you're covered under PP policies and PP will cover you

we used to be able to accept cash,check,money order,postal order,western union or wiretransfer,but now all are banned on Ebay

So it's better for him to send me the item at home and ask him for it and I will refund him.

Okay, so provide TRACKING + to have an invoice ready, do you think that's enough?

And do you think it's good to have every invoice for the item sold ready? AKA to ask for it every time I buy from a supplier?

And as signature confirmation, delivery confirmation do you think what? Is TRACKING enough to show that the item has been delivered?

I just want to list something from home as the first 3 items, put it as an auction and mark it as available only for the Czech Republic and Slovakia, so that I don't have to sell it - so that ebay thinks I'm just going to sell something (less chance that someone will buy it ), I know that mainly bills are checked when they start, and they are even people and not bots, is that true?

And what would you recommend as low-risk products?

I want something around $ 10-20,
