My personal eBay account that I have been doing business on has been seller restricted and all the money that was being held/processed/available by eBay manage payments system is now frozen and cannot be withdrawn.
I spoke to a representative and I was told it would be another 45-60 days until the funds were manually withdrawn from my account. I don't know how factual this is since it seems every representative I speak to has no idea what they are talking about and contradict each other.
I just wanted to see if anyone has experienced this before? Is there a faster way?
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
Ive read several stories here of others in your position.
They were all told the same stories as you.
Look for those threads to see if any of them actually tell how the story ends. I havnt heard any positive endings to similar situations so far but it doesn't make sense that ebay can just 'confiscate' money that does not belong to them as it will open them to lawsuits on every front.

so MP keeps money for 45-60 days vs PP's 180 days?
I've been speaking to eBays managed payments department and also the back office regarding the "Hold" and I seem to be getting a lot of contradicting information regarding it.
One back office member said its 45-60 days from the original restriction date, and another said its 45-60 days once the needed steps are taking (closing all open returns/disputes and paying off any invoice balance).
Once (If) I get this resolved I will post in this thread.

They are all new with managed payments, expect like the rep say 45-60 days to 90 days for remaining deposits.

I heard if it is unclaimed for 30 days it will be returned to the sender. and since you cant claim it, it will return automatically. so if the 45-60 thing is true, that's a quite good thing

Why would it be returned automatically? I'd like to see proof of that from someone who knows what they are saying.
