What happens to your payments still on hold if your ebay get suspended ?

Hello,

I sold some items on ebay recently but the payments are on hold until the 19 august.
My ebay monthly bill is due to be paid on the 15 august but i am unable to pay them until i receive my payments on the 19 august.
They will certainly suspend my ebay account so i would like to know please once they do it what will happen to my payments still on hold ? Will i still receive them ?

Unfortunately eBay doesn't care about you not having the ability to issue payments via PayPal. They just want you to pay your seller fees, period. If you don't pay them when due, you can expect suspention.

When the money in PayPal clears, eBay generally won't reach in & grab it unless you have automatic payments enabled. Did you setup a "billing agreement" on your PayPal when you linked your accounts to do that?

Always make sure you have the available funds to pay your fees.
In the odd instance (such as when youre just starting out) that you dont have the funds you might want to buy a prepaid gift card and pay your fees that way just to avoid any issues.

In my experience ebay does not suspend your account because you do not pay your fees on the EXACT date they are due.
Example if you have an automatic payment attached to ebay and the due date for the fees rolls around it will try the payment method and it will be declined and not go thru. Ebay will then notify you that the payment was declined and ask you to set up another automatic payment method.

They usually do not suspend your account for not paying ebay fees til about a month or so after the due date. So paying the fees a few days after the due date should not be an issue.
