Angry Problems with Sellers & Buyers

omg guys I am so pissed, I don't know what to do! Please advise me. I was trying to buy a printer from ebay and I found a good one for $139 on Sept. 30th, so I purchased it. For some reason the transaction didn't show up on "my ebay". It was only on paypal I could see the transaction. I questioned the seller and asked him if he had received the payment. He said yea and everything was fine and that he would mail it via UPS same day (I told him I needed it 2 day shipping since I had a project due) and that he would send me a tracking number. Days pass and nothing from him, I sent him emails and nothing. Today I finally figure i've had enough and start a claim against him. He now replies and says that I wasn't the first one to send him payment and ebay had a bug or whatever. Then he says because I was not "patient" he would let this be solved by paypal which could take weeks!! OMG, what an *******! Now I have a late project, out $139, and no printer!! Is there anything I can do? Anything I can do to get him back even??? What an ass!

Not even all that serious. And first of all never trust any ebay seller to ship out when you want them too

all you can do is go through ebay and paypal and do an item not received claim.

did the item description say anything about being willing to do ups 2 day shipping right after payment?

i agree with chris... never trust a seller to ship in good time. most do, just don't plan your life around it.

no it's okay, not my seller acct. I'm gonna leave neg regardless, but he finally replied again and said that he can't refund me because paypal froze his account and he wants me to end the claim so that he can refund me. If I do this will it jeopardize the chances of me getting my money back, I mean can you do a paypal claim twice??

i don't think you would want to end the claim before he refunds you. something fishy there yoko! lift your claim, he goes to an atm and takes the money out, you'll never see it again.

it'll probably take between 2 weeks to a month to get your money back.

Nope dont do it. Thats a BIG FAT LIE. He is trying to get you mayne. Trying to rip you off. DO NOT END THAT CLAIM.

IF YOU DO END THE CLAIM YOUR MONEY GOES BYE BYE

You cant do claims twice

And even if his account was frozen he can still refund buyers.

Tell him you will not end the claim and that you want your money back asap and that even if his account was frozen he can still refund buyers and that you know what he is up too.

The seller is a power seller so I know he knows some good tatics to rip people off

the old "end the claim so I can refund you" trick eh..

trust NO ONE.. when it comes to ending your claim early.. ESPECIALLY if its your first time doing business with them. This guy seems shady anyway

That's what feedback is for. Leave him a nice fat negative... and open a non-received or whatever it's called in Paypal to hold the funds. Paypal loves buyers, so I doubt you'll have problems getting your money back. If that doesn't work, do a chargeback on Paypal. There is always a risk when dealing online. You have to expect it and be ready for it.

file seller non performance on ebay. If they boot him, they will make him prove that he refunded you in order to get reinstated on ebay.

plus try to take the money back out of what ever credit card you used to open the seller's account with ebay... make sure you close any old credit cards/ bank checking accounts you used in that ebay and/or paypal account.

In this day and age why would anyone NEED their own printer just to print out a project? Just do it at home and bring to school to print out.

He cant do a chargeback on Paypal. He broke the golden rule----Never pay with Paypal money , always pay by credit card

Angry Buyer threatening me because I do not accept Paypal

Okay so I sold this item for $300 to this buyer. I stated on my auction I ONLY accept CREDIT CARDS THROUGH MY MERCHANT ACCOUNT. Keep in mind that I use Auctiva which is LINKED to Ebay so it's not like I am sending an invoice outside of Ebay.

Perfectly allowed by Ebay.

Then this buyer who won the auction YESTERDAY NIGHT at 10 PM sends me 5 emails one of them being:

YOUR METHOD OF PAYMENT
> IS NOT LEGAL!! Are you following me...are you just looking to ignore my
> emails and simply give me negative feedback as nonpayment and then look

What should I do?!!!! I don't have a Paypal account (or wish to use it)
