How permenant are "permenent" seller restrictions
 

My personal account got suspended permanently from selling privilege's. I've heard from one credited individual that he had "permanent" restricted account have their selling privileges reinstated.

I am wondering if anyone here has ever experienced anything like this?

I put a lot of work into my personal eBay over the years and have built it up. Starting over again with a stealth account seems very intimidating and I question the longevity of individual accounts.

the first rule is to never have just one account.
Have multiple so if one goes down you don't lose much

Its hard because I need to contact the "back end" of the Trust and Safety department (only can reach them through email). I tried to appeal the decision today and got hit with this.

"
We have decided that your account will remain indefinitely restricted from selling. We have taken this action out of concern for the safety and integrity of the eBay Community. Due to eBay policy, we cannot provide you with more specific information.



We understand that this situation may be frustrating; however, although future emails from you will be read, we will be unable to respond to any further requests to reinstate your selling privileges."

I've never heard of this before, very interesting. I will contact them tomorrow and see what can be done.

first, IF you get your account back, I hope you don't think it will work just like before. If anything, it might be worse than a brand new account.

But also, you haven't told us WHY you got suspended. That part kinda really matters a lot. I've gotten my accounts back before. But I have no idea why they took yours away so no one can really answer you

FB business did not work for me. I was banned for shipping 2-3 products to the wrong address and was not able to up my metrics because I had no other listings, and they restricted the number of listings I could list.
