Stealth German VAT

Any solutions to deal with stealth German VAT please?
I have a business DE eBay Stealth account, after 3 orders, ebay requires me to add VAT number which a stealth account is unable to provide.
Or can an individual DE ebay account can go without a VAT number?
Any advice will be highly appreciated.
