Who got the same message?
I got this message on ebay (in this period managed is going to be activated also in italy) who had the same situation?
I'm scared that eBay will report me to the tax office. Quote:
Restrictions have been applied to your eBay account
Dear 3,
We recently contacted you regarding a request to identify you as a professional seller. Since you have not yet switched to a professional account yet, we have placed restrictions on your eBay seller account.
We have removed your active listings and you can no longer sell to Italian buyers or sell items located in Italy. Take the step now to remove those restrictions. Once completed, you can start selling again within 24 hours.
For legal reasons, professional sellers must identify themselves as such. Learn more about how to turn your eBay account into a professional account.
Note: By switching to a professional account, you confirm that you comply with Italian tax laws and other regulatory requirements for professional sellers. Further information
We thank you for your cooperation.
Thanks,
eBay

We apologize for any inconvenience, we have reactivated your eBay account and your listings
Hello,
We are writing to apologize for the incorrect communication on the restrictions applied to your eBay account and the consequent removal of your active listings due to a technical problem.
We have already taken the necessary measures and reactivated your eBay account and your normal sales activity to limit any inconvenience:
· You can find and relist any removed listings in the Listings> Not Sold section of the Seller Console, or in My eBay> Sales> Not Sold.
· Any advertisement fees originally charged for the removed advertisements as well as those eventually charged for their relisting, will be re-credited to you, at the latest, by the end of April.
However, we would like to inform you that, by the end of the month, you will be required to upgrade your account from private to professional as part of our ongoing compliance checks and in light of recent changes to the VAT legislation. eBay will provide you with all the information and time needed to adapt your business to these changes.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact our Customer Service.
Sorry again for any inconvenience and, as always, thank you for selling on eBay.
Sincerely,
The eBay Team
