eBay Selling Limits - Are they lifted automatically after X days?

I have an account with 600+ FB, PowerSeller since last month. I only have about 10 items listed usually, but I do use the new variations feature where I have 4 choices and 10 quantity of each, so really it's 10x4x10 which is probably in eBay's eyes 400 items (or variations and quantity). I listed the auctions in early October and then re-listed them again a few days later, so eBay would count this as 800 listings, right? Anyways, when trying to list now, about 3 weeks later, I get this:

In order to maintain a safe trading environment, selling limits are occasionally placed on accounts. This selling limit is in no way meant to question your record with eBay or standing within the eBay community. To resolve this situation, please contact eBay's SafeHarbor Department using the Webform on the following help page .

We sincerely value you as a member of our trading community and look forward to a continued successful relationship. We appreciate your cooperation in resolving this matter as quickly as possible.

It does say to contact eBay to resolve the situation. But the question is, if I don't contact them, will the selling limits be lifted eventually? Say after 30, 60 or 90 days? Or do I have to contact them to be able to list again?

I believe the selling limit resets every 30 days. I haven't had one myself in forever, so I can't promise my memory serves me correctly. You can contact them to possibly have your velocity or maximum capacity limit increased.

I was selling makeup and suddenly they put a selling limit even thought I was selling like 10 a month!! yesterday I tried to post more makeup and it worked, it has been less than a month when I got that limit. Hope my answer gives you some light.
