Can somebody explain to me what's going on with ebay. Created my friends real account in EU. Tried listing my 1st item on the USA marketplace, used book, got suspended. Contacted them and they reinstated, then listed the same item boom suspended again this time perma ban. What is the point of this if they wont even let you list anything?!

Regular ISP IP from the country where the account was created. Never used before as my friend never had an account before on ebay...

no , the IP address is not the main barrier. most people open accounts from the country where they are based using local providers , this seems to be with the TO as well

the main issue are random suspensions for new accounts and of course it is better not to sell internationally with new accounts. but this is a dilemma for those people who are based in a country where it is only possible to list internationally

what's the item you listed and how much?

No VPNs clean ISP. Listed a used book for $10, with local pick up no shipping

it is a usual thing nowdays , people getting suspended randomly. country plays a role as well , if it is eastern europe it is even more likely to get suspended

just open many accounts , you open 200-300 accounts and will get 20-40 strong accounts out of it. this especially works great with payoneer

But he still needs to be careful with the type of items he sells.

items play a role but they really suspend almost everybody , riskier items are just more likely to get a permanent suspension

in fact you can even use the same details to open many new accounts , they don't check them anyway. same details may become a problem at a later stage but with new accounts you can just open 25 new accounts with the same details and if 2-5 come through you just sell on those

If you get limited then reinstated usually I would wait a week or 2 before listing an item again and that quote often stops the second limitation

I see listed the same day so it got perma ban. This is just nonsense on regular account. How is the regular Joe supposed to know this if he is creating his legit account, I guess nobody is going to sell on ebay with regular accounts...

just a few weeks ago you were laughing at a poor guy from eastern europe who was kicked out of ebay with stealth accounts saying that he had 10 years to get used to this implying it was his fault

I am not in a hurry to sell on Epray... but it is just not funny to see how the regular guy is destroyed by the very stupidly tweaked ebay bots; and not that AZs are much different...These companies became so protective that you cannot properly launch a real account with them, really pity where this is going.
