Linked by computer's user name?

Thus could sound silly but I am thinking that as eBay can view cookies, these contain the user of the PC: "John/c:/eBay ...". So if you create several separate PC user accounts as John1, John2, John3, ..., you could be linked anyway

Is it safe or am I being too extremist ...?

What names (ideas) do you use to keep your PC user accounts in order?

Re: Linked by computer's user name?

That isn't how cookies work so there's no risk there.

Just make sure User opened as a administrator and rest are fine. i think if you change IP regularly like 2-3 times daily to log in one account that flag the account and you will get mc011. dont forget there are thousand reason why you get MC011.

You'll be fine. Just use the name of your eBay account =)

What if you are using Ip burger and the ip changes several times over a hour time frame with the residential service?

Username is local. a browser can not link the username.

however they can link you from the same pc, by so called fingerprints.

it is easy to check. open these 2 links on 2 different users on the same PC. you will see that they show the same value. even if you open them with another browser

https://browserleaks.com/webgl
https://browserleaks.com/canvas

also if you use a vpn or proxy, your IP will leak with webrtc
always use a webrtc protection such as
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...fjflfnfl?hl=en

besides these 2 fingerpirnts there are many many more

you can check here
https://www.deviceinfo.me/

paremeters such as language will not lead to a unique user. for example they can not link you because you use spanish browser language.

But what they can do is take many parameters together to create a uniqe profile. eg Spansih language, timezone, additional installed langauges, keyboard layout, browserversion, screen resolution, OS, useragent, installed fonts (this one is very unique), and many many other things.

Putting all of that together they can create a uniqe identifier even without cookies.

if you want to check posible parameters they can track you with check here

https://amiunique.org/

but these are by far not all, but to answer your question, no they can not link you by windows username

Re: Linked by computer's user name?

But I don't think they check canvas or fingerprints ... Am I wrong SaiJin?

Re: Linked by computer's user name?

yes you are wrong.

if you want a proof install

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...cppdebfp?hl=en

and webgl fingerpint defender

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...embdicik?hl=en

both plugins will warn you that a fingerprint has been taken once you enter ebay and try to login.

Most unique fingerprint is fonts however. that one is very hard to prevent. browser can see which fonts are installed on your pc. and it is very likely that there is no other person with the same fonts like you.

I cant proof you that eBay checks font fingerprints, but as this fingerprint is very easy to get i strongly believe so

ebay is also performing a portscan on your computer. they are scanning the most common ports for remote software, such as Teamviewer remote desktop etc. it is also very hard to defend against that

https://blog.nem.ec/2020/05/24/ebay-port-scanning/

In fact they can see everything except those things which requiere a persmission from the user, which will be:
- geolocation
- microphoneusage
- camerusage
- bluetooth device usage
- usage of a biometric device (fingerprint sensor, to log in with fingerprint instead of password)

in case ebay will try to get any information of those 4 above you will get a popup. but i never heard that they actually try.

I do not think SaiJin is very experienced with this topic.

I could try to install those extensions in a spare eBay as have heard that eBay doesn't like those plug-ins (a reason to be suspended?). But I always use Firefox as Chrome is worse in terms of privacy

Yes, I agree, eBay has never suspended any account of mine for this reason, by now ... (I am talking with 20 years of experience with eBay).

-I guess that Amazon does check fingerprints-

I can't tell about using Virtual IPs to log-in eBay as I always use a dynamic router at home and register with neighborhood adresses (My router always leak my position/ village via IP). I read many topics of persons in this and other forums having suspensions and most of them are using Virtual servers as they are in different countries or with a static IP

I guess using a cell phone (the same one) with a new IP for each eBay (plane mode and you have a new IP) is neither a problem. In my case only tethering to laptop during holidays/ travels. Anyway it gives me different cities in my country everytime I get the new IP ... But that could lead as to another topic ...

Re: Linked by computer's user name?

Ebay is asking for a huge amount of fingerprints. Using different accounts on the same device will still lead to suspension.

Re: Linked by computer's user name?

For my experience I have logged in limited or suspended accounts with same modem/ fingerprints (only different user accounts and dynamic IP my modem gives me "powering on/off") and I am still "alive" in eBay ... Again I am talking from my 20 years of experience in eBay (+50 accounts?). Simple way, no problems ...

that part is absolutely fine. PLus it's supposed to rotate within 30 minutes.

The ISP is the important one and I'm sure it doesn't change.

They do collect fingerprints, that is a fact and easy to check.

however if they find identical ones it does not mean they will ban you right away. it is very good possible that you can use the account for a year and then get a suspension or mc011 and you do not know why

Anti Detect Browsers solves this problem. You can make unlimited ebay amazon or w.e. accounts with this type of software. It is the revolutionary solution..I should drop an affiliate link for this.

OPSEC...

Research, and develop your own opsec.

Re: Linked by computer's user name?

I tried many Anti Detect Browsers. They work well as solution however i can not consider them as 100% safe.

I checked at least 10 of them. first of none of them manages to not leak your IP with webrtc. you need completely disiable webrtc in any browser.

second issue, most of them still leak your hardware, such as fingerprintsensor, gravity device etc.

Antidetect browsers are good, I use them personally to manage more than 100 accounts, but as the software is for very dedicated purposes it is very expensive. I pay 400$ per month for an antidetct browser. there are cheaper ones but the ones around for sure.

So you are saying Anti detect browsers are good for managing accounts only? Do you have an success with new accounts created on them?

I tried a couple of those browsers and have had no success with creating a new seller with them. Maybe it is my luck or something.
