permanent suspended after one hour
 

New local ip
New local telephone
New user on the computer

They suspended me 15 minuts after registration, but I could remove this suspension after getting contact with them.
I chatted with them and asked if it was ok to list items, they replied"yes"

At this stage I wasn't asked for any documents yet.

So on the 4th day, I listed 3 items, and one hour later I got an email, telling me that my account is permanent suspended.
I appealed in several emails and also chatting online, but they insisted that the decision is unchangable.

And they even don't know who I am yet, but just don't want to give me a chance.
According me the item I am selling is not risky at all. There are thousands of sellers who sell this kind of items.

But I did fxck up myself a couple of times, I hade accounts but then I screwed up, didn't pay ebay fees, and then accounts became suspended. Maybe they recognized me even though I haven't sent in identity documents.

Going to have to try switching up methods on creating and listing.

Have been testing several options and for me the win seems to be with a mobile phone and mobile IP.

Haven't had any luck using new users, Vmware or different browsers on desktop using a mobile tether, IPburger or hotspot device.

Bear in mind, these are listing after first creating the account. I have tried listing on aged accounts, but it is a hit and miss. Either gets permanent suspension or restricted account with document submission.

Now I don't know what/how to list if I ever possible create a new account....
Couldn't change kind of items I am selling.

Keep the same items, mix up the listing title and other things. Clean the photos, edit them.

I sell the same items on all accounts, but mix them up. Some stay up, others take a hit. All depends on how the account is created which is confusing.

I disagree with most of the posters above. Honestly I just think its luck of the draw and time of the year you signed up. eBay literally goes psycho during the holiday season. Creation methods you used a few months prior, proper as they may be, aren't enough

I will tell you my story. I was suspended on eBay, then I bought the eBay Stealth Book, I followed every step. I bought a new cheap laptop, using my mobile phone as hotspot to provide fresh new IP address. The first account registered survived for 3 days or so, after I sent out the first sold item. Then the account got banned. Thereafter, every account I created on that laptop using new hotspot ip got banned in 30 minutes, even I reformated and reinstalled the system everytime. So I would say used computer is not a feasible solution. I now use iPad, because it is more secure.

Are you cleaning the photo metadata in listing? What browser are you using? And what mobile hotspot provider? Is it changing your IP?

They will ask for docs you when you make first $1,000.
That way, they have some cash in their kitty, that they can steal!

They haven't been able to look at device MAC in the past - always a myth that persists

ABout 2 weeks ago mobile was working fine and then just last week have been getting restrictions 30 minutes after. Switched to a mobile VPN and haven't had any issues.

So it is a game of cat and mouse here.

Not true, if you make an account like a normal person there’s nothing suspicious about that. But when you look like you’re trying to hide something from eBay that’s when you run into problems.

What does a normal person do?

Make an eBay account on a mobile phone on mobile browser or eBay app using mobile data.

What does a suspicious person do?

Make a eBay account on a anti finger print browser, on a VPN / PROXY. Looks like a total Robot

browser fingerprinting has been the issue with suspensions since June 2021

They ban your accounts by hardware ID.

Does not matter if you use laptop, desktop, or mobile.
They WILL ask you for docs when you have some bucks in your account!

If you just want an ebay account, just because, you will be fine.
But if you want an ebay account, to make money, you will need docs.

What purpose is an ebay account if you are not making money!

Here is the very simple formula: No docs = locked account.
