The customers are still there. I'm just recently learning this after a couple years thinking they almost all left for Amazon. They're just not as easy to appeal to as they used to be with all the new rules.
Biggest kick in the balls to my business has been brexit. All of my EU buyers get punched in the throat with import tax so i'm only selling in the UK now.

People have been saying this for a decade or more.
I currently like this eBay environment. There is a lot less crappy sellers. The prices are a good bit more that say 2019 and buyer problems are a lot less.
Fees, they are slightly less for me in the USA. But I completely understand it can be brutal in other parts of the world especially after exchange rates.
Seller does not get the best price for their goods and Ebay fee is too high, too many bottomfeeders looking for goods to resell or they just dont have the money after rent, grocery, gas

People say this, but in my market, there are TONS of sellers selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗ goods, consistently. One new account after another. Most of which were probably bought on here lol.
