eBay asking for full tax ID number

I recently had the IRS mismatch on a seasoned account from 2015. This account is set-up as a sole prop LLC with EIN. The sent a W9 form by mail and requested online. I have always filled this information under the name section as my LLC name. Then plug in the EIN in the section for the IRS. This has tend to work because on the government website is exactly how it was created. DO NOT put your EIN and your SSN on the form. You dont want to raise any questions. They simply are turning the form over to the IRS not their internal reviewers.

You cant do this on Mercari, the SSN is mandatory and the EIN is optional there

eBay only asking for sole prop from what I have gathered.
