Amazon, Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, Harbor Freight, and every other retailer has auctions for returned goods. Usually by the pallets. Sometimes by the truck load.

I actually know someone who buys these pallets then list the items on Mercari.
She said she had to rent 3 storage rooms to store everything

some streets they dont let truck to come thru, and if they do,you need set up to receive those pellets,a regular garage wont work,it has to be like those warehouse dock sites.
When WMT was closing some of its superstores, there are 2 outfits, both exists solely on AMZN marketplace, one get a $100K draft from its bank, sent 2 employees with Uhaul to pick up as many as they can and list them on AMZN,they expect 100% gross margin.
Another is a team, guy with his brother in law and mother in law who has a station wagon, they spent $30k and expect 100% gross margin.
But you figure the time it takes to list,AMZN fee ,still a good deal as WMT markdown anywhere from 35-65%,since WMT has the buying power,it is low to begin with and with the markdown,it could be cheaper than going to a wholesaler, also save on shipping cost if you buy from multiple wholesalers, they usually use Fed EXP ground.
