How does Ebay deal with porch piracy?
 

I'm fully aware that as a seller, if my tracking shows delivered and the customer opens an INR case, I will win the case due to the tracking. But how does eBay deal with situations of legitimate porch piracy, where the item IS delivered but may have been stolen after the fact?

I ask because I recently contacted Amazon about a similar case I was having (as a buyer) where the item was clearly delivered but was nowhere to be found when I went to check for it. Amazon was super cool with it and just refunded my order, which got me thinking how different amazon and ebay are in this regard. Does eBay have any such policy in place? Is it case by case? Do they EVER step in for the buyer in cases like this? Jw as Ive never been on the buyers side of this on an ebay transaction

eb has its buyer protection policy and will cover the loss - not as super smooth/quick as AZ but there is one

Package not received - eb asked me to provide signed letter sort of like a sworn affidavit that I did not receive anything - took a while after submission but full refund provided.

If it shows delivered you're pretty much out of luck.

Ebay has a 30 days MBG-MONEY BACK GUARANTEE,AFTER 30 DAYS,you have to go t o your cc issuer to file a chargeback.But if it is delivered,you have to file a report first.
Do it too many times,Ebay will suspend your buying privilege
