Uploading a new ID to ebay for a 'your action needed request'
 

Hi,

I have an ebay account which has had a family members ID uploaded a few months ago. However the driving licence has expired and I'm unable to provide a valid DL again for my family member (lives abroad)

Ebay are now asking again to upload my ID and confirm the name and address again. I got a 'Action required:verify your information to continue selling' message

Can I just change the name and address and then upload another family members ID for ebay?

this likely means that multiple accounts are registered to the same person

Ok, thanks. I think I'll have to transfer the account to a new person anyway. I assume it would need a new bank attached too since the name on ebay will be different.

you can transfer if no ID has been uploaded yet , if same person has multiple ebay accounts they will be asked to upload ID

it is even possible that over time everybody will be asked to upload ID but those on multiple accounts are first in the queue

You can't keep changing info on an account like this.

What's stopping you to reach out to your family member and ask for an updated ID? Can't be that hard
