So, I believe that this ban wave should end somewhere in February when eBay has resources again to control newcomers. | Sounds logical.
But now something has changed, but not all. Still need to wait till end of Feb !

There's no such thing as a ban wave, those selling accounts will probably attest to this.
It's all down to poor account creation process and/or management.
Since MP was introduced Ebay have upped their game, sellers need to as well.

I don’t necessary disagree with you however every time someone claims here “it’s all down to account creation” when approached privately, they clearly don’t know jack ****. Every person I have ever questioned in private , they all seem to be knowledgeable in a group but when it comes to practice , they are just as clueless as everyone else here. So instead of talking in absolutes , maybe you should say something like “ it could be possible their account creation might be incorrect ” Quote:

I disagree , for the months before December/ January I was easily able to make new accounts without issue . But when these months came in everything changed and no matter what I tried for 2 Months it all failed.
However if this “wave “ which apparently should end soon doesn’t end soon they maybe eBay have changed , we shall see

"Ban Waves" is a topic only discussed on stealth forums like this, visit any legitimate site and their own forums and it's not mentioned. Ebay do not cancel legitimate accounts, there is no such thing as a ban wave.
Given their decline in seller numbers they're not looking to simply ban new sellers, quite the opposite.
As I said above, instead of blaming ebay for wholesale blind banning of accounts, ask yourself what you're doing wrong. I can 100% guarantee that if I create an account today (UK) it will not get permanently banned. I guess it could be temporarily suspended pending further info but I'd be able to provide that but not outright banned on creation.
For those who believe ban waves do exist then decide when you think this is and don't waste valuable/legitimate info trying to create accounts during this period. Simples. |

In my oppinion there is ban wave. How could then you can explain last year from march till November - new account ( 10 days after creating ) listed first item 5-7k$ and everything was worked. And since from November it was not working anymore.
I can create 100 ebay acxounts and no one of them will be banned now days. But from Nov till Feb - half will be banned !

Amazon is a lot more frequent.

But from Nov till Feb - half will be banned ! | there are more suspensions when more accounts are opened and the other way around but these suspensions really continue all the time when a large portion of new accounts gets taken out
additionally ebay have a tendency to make it more difficult every year so that march 2022 could easily be different from march 2023
there is no point to compare this way , the further you go back in time the easier it was , for example until 2019 there were no bans of new accounts at all if they did not attract attention through risky listings

Yes you are saying not proven facts, this is what you think. Maybe there is some part of true but overall is bull****.
Many memmbers here says it is ban wave every year and then system gets not so stric, but you are saying no, its not any ban wave. This is funny.
You are not listening to others, who is making decision from their experiance and facts.
What is your facts about non ban wave ?

What is your facts about non ban wave ? | the facts are that ebay allow to open certain numbers of new accounts and suspend the rest , they have been doing this for a long time but becoming more aggressive
this ban wave is just an increase in the number of suspension which take place all the time anyway but you can certainly see this as a ban wave , it really does not make any difference on how to call it
