| Sosaa247 | 01-08-2023 10:53 AM | Jan ban wave ?? I thought the ban wave would be over by now but apparently not . Standard new account creation method new ip , number etc .
Every single new account created now seems to get banned within 20 minutes of first listing .
Anyone else experiencing this ? |

Anyone else experiencing this ? | It depends what is your first item.
What category and is that expensive or not.
But overall ban wave is not over. Expect about mid feb to be over. |

Anyone else experiencing this ? | Are you using the ebay appor browser...on a phone or desktop... is your location on ....are you using the same phone ...are you using a distinctip or a general ip location with a phone that's not primed with cookies. Are you using an vpn...VPNs are burnt. They flag the whole range of VPN addreess.. when u say new ip what do u mean? And what other info is new name? Address? Ssn or ein? Explain? Are you listing tools like milwuakee dewalt or branded tools? |

Ip burger residential vpn , I’m not sure if they keep using recycled ip addresses because I have seen the same location show up a couple times but I’m not sure if the ip was different.
And this is the UK so no ssn , everything else is different |

Try to sell something expensiver than 20$ and then you will see.
Many sellers can agree cos there is ban wave and it is every tear like that !
And after feb ebay stays not so strict as now |

If you will make now new account and start selling most probably you will get “ reactivate your account “ message from ebay.
I can say this only for europe accounts on .com site ! |

And after feb ebay stays not so strict as now | TO is complaining about a new account so it is unlikely a problem of item price |

If you list one item 0.20$ will be ok, if 2 items each 0.20$ will get “ reactivate your account “
Till November 2022 was able to list first item even 500$ ! But in novemeber ebay has started to ban account and restric accounts due to coming christmas and new year sales ! |

Most problem is about to list something expensively - then you have reactivate account message and when you contact support then there is ban 100% |

As long as the ISP is consistent which I'm sure it is and you're using it, it's all good. |

As long as the ISP is consistent which I'm sure it is and you're using it, it's all good. | My most recent account that I made a post about got "suspended" shortly after I bought a proxy off IPBurger. I got that resolved then got a MC011 few days after. I know it was a combination of listing fast but also the proxy. Really sucks to lose an account for such a silly reason like that but I would highly suggest no one use proxies anymore. Eventually if you get a MC011 they can see this when they do research on your account, unless you're a very seasoned seller its just a bad look. |
| Sosaa247 | 01-11-2023 07:30 PM | Re: Jan ban wave ?? Yeah I’m not gonna lie , every single account I make is now banned within 20 mins of listing , and I mean every single account . Like I said everything is new , this leads me to believe it is an IP issue , I will try tomo with my phone as hotspot instead |

Re: Jan ban wave ?? hmm is it possible that this series of ip being provider has been flagged...just wondering since the service has been in existence for quite some time now... |

I don't know enough to speak on the website, I know ASPKIN runs it, but personally I would not use it, or any website for that matter. Trust yourself and use what you can control (mobile hotspots) or try to get a refreshed IP at your home/office. |
| Sosaa247 | 01-12-2023 03:58 PM | Re: Jan ban wave ?? Well I did my test by using a hotspot , but the account still got suspended within 20 mins of first listing .
Im not sure why they all keep getting suspended if it’s not an ip problem .
I have no idea how I’m going to create any new accounts , everything was working so perfectly before December |

You can only get suspended so many times before you freak the bots out. Something you are doing is obviously flawed because you shouldn't have this many problems. If you have the same information used on repeat I would take a break, or change the data. Kinda hard since you have to use real information...
This is why each account we make must be treated extremely carefully. Can't just burn accounts. |

I have varied the amounts from £30 up to £65 , all still suspended |

New number name etc was used each time . Your probably right they are somehow linking me but I’m not sure how , as everything I have been using had been different |

If account is strong and ebay system is over with christmas ban, then you can list whatever you want without buying….. |

If it was, then all my accounts would have been toast too. I run very very big amazon accounts and I exclusively use their residential IP with no problems whatsoever. |

We should all do our best to increase chances for accounts to last. If you open a brand new account, and your first activity within that day is listing something shortly afterwards, you roll the dice. I don't think eBay checks fingerprints or all these things some are paranoid about, but algo's do flag accounts.
The smartest approach to listing on eBay is treating it like you would if you had never sold on the platform before. I doubt 90%+ people who have never created an account with eBay before open a brand new account and immediately start selling something. It's not normal behavior, and that's what algo's search for. |

I have no idea how I’m going to create any new accounts , everything was working so perfectly before December | Same thing happened to me and when I called they did an entire credit check questioning...4 to 5 questions about passed addresses and people I know ...and blah blah...
20 mins is it all it took for them to ban it...since than I use phones but even the phone accounts on last so long...but that might have been on my selling pattern and items. So It guess or check for me. I'm tired of burning phones and real people lending their real info for me to use...pretty soon I'm going to have to buy profiles to use |
| ISellitAll | 01-16-2023 08:17 PM | Re: Jan ban wave ?? Maybe they seen the account had no cookies or browsing history and thought that was a flag? Not sure |
| vettefever17 | 01-17-2023 12:32 AM | Re: Jan ban wave ?? I would consider buying an already-created account that has a little age on it. Then tune the residential IP to the location of creation on IP burger. Keep it under the radar then when you get the dreaded update of your tax information, plug in your details and again return IP to your details.
I know my old accounts did fine going to Ipburger VPNs after years of using a different service. |

I know my old accounts did fine going to Ipburger VPNs after years of using a different service. | Aged accounts are treated differently than new accounts. No question. And this makes 100% rational sense. You’ve established positive enough reputation, why should algorithms be strict on accounts like this? They aren’t. That’s why most of eBay sellers who run profits are from aged accounts. It’s in their earnings reports. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 06:17 AM. | |
