quite a few circumstances - mostly sales of problematic items or high end sales quickly or even just an initial risky sale...etc

Thanks. Can you elaborate on "initial risky sale"? Meaning sales in a new account?

Mine is a 13 year old account that I start to sell in 2021.

Sales: 2K for 2021 and 50K for 2022.

Asking as a preventive caution...

that's a big change from 2021 to 2022 - you havent been asked anything yet which is good - what category of sales?

initial risky sale would be a new account, correct - which is not your case clearly

retail arbitrage stuff in shoes and clothing. well let me take back what I said a little bit, I did sell from time to time during my amazon years 2012-2018, I believe never exceeding 2K a year.

Before I used to make invoices and pass them and now it seems like once they ask for documents it's a wrap? Why is that. One account i sent real invoices and the account still was banned?

If your account is aged, and you're saying 2k in dollar amount from 2021, 50k 2022 that is already a decent jump. The biggest reasons I find are basic,

1) Item not received claims pile up
2) Too many returns saying item is not described
3) If eBay removes your listing for counterfeit
4) Multiple VeRo strikes could trigger a manual review
5) Making over $5,000+ in one day (unless you normally do) triggers a manual review.

Where did you get your info. I sold a 17k item no problem after a few 7.5k sales on a 1 and half month old account. It was only till I delayed shipping or had issues with shipping time frames I got botted. The rest of the holds I just called and cleared them

Ebay does not like retail arbitrage,so it would ask for a vendor invoice. These days there are a lot of shoplifting going on in retail stores like WAlgreen,Target, and these items are resold on internet.
There are discussions now should sales venues like AMZN and Ebay allow such.
One way to catch such is to ask for a vendor invoice,

a vendor invoice will have vendor name and address, your name and address and account number(optional),the invoice should have item description, unit price, number of units you bought =total for every item in the invoice

Before you can buy from a factory or distributor/wholesaler,you need to open an account with them, and they may check your credit history since terms usually is net 30,so you are right, invoice is just an invoice, but merchant is expected to pay according to the terms.
Ebay can also call the vendor to verify .
If a newbie is trying to sell new items in multiple quantities, then Ebay could ask for vendor invoice,it depends on what you are selling-NIKE?Ipod,Iphone??

are you using stock photos ?

Those bots use list of criteria like if you are a relatively new seller selling low price junks and all of a sudden, you are listing expensive designer handbags, cologne, electronics, all brand new and/or multiple quantities and in an area where shop raids are reported, remember that dept store raid in CA?
There is a service with a rather strange name used by sale venues like Ebay/amzn,which track where you have been browsing, shopping?

yes,if yiu open an account with them, once approved, place an order

did you place an order with manufacturer/distributor/wholesaler,they usually will ask you to apply for an account.

I spoke to a representative today and their was a kid running around in the background which leads me to believe my Intial theory that we no longer have access to the eBay reps that Can actually make changes. These other reps seem to be here to qualm and ban and read off scripts to pacify the public...maybe send a message to the real reps on your behalf...ebay is horrible. Hence the bots now pick up and block accounts to prevent fraud and bring down their work load....

But invoice isn't a reciept it just shows that u were billed for the items but not paid yet right? Does it matter have u successfully got past ebay with a invoice...I had to make real receipts with creases and everything. But now a days that doesn't pass on new accounts selling new ites...they seem to get banned all the time...even a random joe told me the same thing happened to him and he wasn't trying to sell but 3 items ..however he never bought anythi
Ng...hence their must be bots picking and choosing accounts to flag...because of new items on certain brands...

I delete cookies but never had to cause I use the new phone and new account just for ebay app. I believe it was the new items in multiple quantities that fall under popular store brand s like milwaukee tools that are in high theft. However I provided reciept for the 2 items and was still banned. Shouldn't they have a notice of what items we can't post. What about business liquidation sites that sell inventory that falls in the same bracket? Or auctions ..like storage auctions.
