Weird issues with visibility on international eBay sites
I have a few different accounts going but have been seeing various weird listing issues.
One one account I had an item which was making almost 1 sale in the US every day for a few months. It was falsely removed for being a digital item which I appealed and won. After relisting sales dropped off hugely. Ebay assured me the account was in good standing with no flags or restrictions but clearly did something as suddenly sales went up and the item was visible. A week later it disappeared again and for at least a month I was invisible to the US market, no one could help with this. A month later the option to pay for the item to be visible to US and CA appeared. I now see the item in US search results again but despite this only make 1 sale a week if I'm lucky.
On another account I had the account go below standard. My sales were cut about around half as expected. I successfully had all defects removed and the account went back in to above standard this month. What I never expected is for the account to get killed in the same way as account 1. Since the account went back as above standard the item is no longer visible to the US site and some others. My sales are less than half what they were when the account was below standard!
Is anyone else aware of these kind of issues or how to resolve them? Neither account was ever restricted or re-activated.
