Default Houston...I have a problem....

Can someone advise me on what to do?
ok, I've been listing quite nicely using Auctiva. However, I do not have a paypal account, only moneybookers. Auctiva does not have a box to click for moneybookers, so I always put...moneybookers, please in my auctions. But I do have to click Paypal w/a .....address so it will list.
Most of my customers will either use moneybookers or contact me stating they want to cancel. Well, yesterday I get an email from bay support. A customer had complained and still wants the item. They state that if I click paypal then I should accept paypal. I abhore Paypal and totally adore moneybookers. Can someone advise me on my reply email to bay. I really don't want to lose this BEautiful account this way. Thanks.

Just accept the payment through paypal. It is just one transaction no big deal. You haven't given us anything to work with besides someone complained about an item to ebay. Nothing new here...

Phillly431 thanks for the reply. This is a pre-aspkin forum account. I have not signed it up for a Paypal account as it will link to previous suspended accounts thus shutting it down and that's the reason why I originally started using Moneybookers. I guess I will reply to bay support that I am a newb, and that I accepted paypal was a typo, I will live and learn and hope they accept that. Thanks again. Darn that one customer.

I think I get it. You have already had a Paypal account suspended with your real details, correct?

My advice would be to set up another paypal account. Use the rules in stealth to do this. Then once the Paypal account is fully verified you can offer it to ebay users who insist on Paypal.

Hope this helps.

Also if you really want a Paypal account with your own details and are dubious about making a stealth account (some people are, as they really do want to try to comply)

Then if you have another bank account and credit card why not try to set a paypal account up with your real details. I did this recently to test this. I also had a Paypal account with my real details suspended some time ago.

I set up a new account with the following

A New Name (stealth)
My real address
A different phone number

I failed the phone confirmation but got the letter. I then added the bank account and completed all steps to verify including expuse.

I then added my current mobile number to my new paypal account.

All is working. I am going to test to see if there are any problems.

Hope this helps sucerouche

Neo,

That is it exactly....Thanks. I got suspended previously, and decided (before discovering this forum) to use moneybookers exclusively. Then I got the Stealth Book and lots of wonderful advice from everyone here, and I set up stealth accounts while keeping the moneybookers one as my main account with semi real information.

I will give your advice a try.
With moneybookers, they have not touched my account at all not once.
Which is why I love it. If I switch over to Paypal, that is when
all the doom and gloom happens.

If that doesn't work, I will contact the customer and tell them I have a cousin that has a paypal account. My cousin will set up a private auction and they can pay that way. My "cousin" will be one of my stealth accounts. Hopefully that will work. I really don't want my moneybookers account to plummett as it is my bread and butter and on its way to getting me close to being a Powerseller for the first time ever!! =O)

Can buyers use their paypal account to pay you through moneybookers? Or do they have to have a moneybookers account also?

I might have to give it a try... Too many huge payments coming in!

Btw, If you were to make a new paypal account for that account you would have to wait for it to age for 30 days I believe...
