I received a message from eBay asking me to contact them to verify some questions in order to reactive my eBay account - Is the account banned?
What type of questions would I expect from them? Most obvious one being will probably what items you are selling and where you are getting them from. I am selling smartwatches but I do not know what to say as to where I am getting them from as I do not have any proof. I simply get them from a distribution warehouse. - I have a business eBay account
Any other questions I could expect? Also what happens to the money that is on hold to pay-out as there is still quite a bit in there. Do I bother processing uncompleted orders at this rate or should I just cancel all orders?
I have already made about 70 sales on the account and to be quite frank, I did it all too fast (within 2 months of about 2.5K) as I did not want to take the slow route. |
Re: Reactive eBay account message Welcome to the forum OP - all the best as you master ghost method :thumb:
Account is likely suspended currently. You did sell a lot very quickly and smartwatches electronics products could be risky from the top. If you don't get reinstated, the money will likely be released in 45-60 days |

There is £600 in pending orders currently. I don't know if I should complete them or not |

Its rare for any sort of doc request to happen. Its usually just an oral checkin on the account
I would ring them asap and see how you get on then get the orders shipped out if its restored |
| degsey69 | 11-24-2023 12:38 PM | Re: Reactive eBay account message They may ask you for invoices for items sold, passport or drivers license and credit card statement. As your sales are growing they want to make sue its you. |
| agent006140 | 11-24-2023 01:53 PM | Re: Reactive eBay account message They would want to see vendor invoice, showing company name, address and the items you bought, unit price x quantity with your name/company and address.
Have tracking showed some of the customers have received the watch and did any leave you feedback?
Are they authentic or knockoff? |

I don't think it's banned yet, but they'll ask you questions about your planning on eBay.
Make sure you have all your tracking uploaded to show them that you are shipping them FAST! |
Re: Reactive eBay account message Best of luck OP - few approaches to be done |

Or make lots of sales? |
