Every account has to have a beneficiary, I think you know that. It is not that the business accounts are the same it is the personal details like my name and SSN. I try to change the address, and name slightly but SSN is enough for anyone if they wanted too.
I don't think regular trust & safety checks this, if they did that with every account who has the time. But lets say you get restricted and someone suspected you for having another account, if they wanted too, they could find it. That's all I know as fact. At least for American accounts.

Let me tell you what im thinking. If you have multiple businesses, and almost everything is different except for the SSN, name and DOB, would they have enough confidence to auto ban the other accounts? From what I know, its not the case.
They group attributes, and depending on how many attributes are grouped, thats when auto ban happens |

| This is the part I do not know for certain. It would have to be where you already got the MC099 for a different reason, then they would find this while reviewing your account. I am not implying I think they have built in the algorithms to detect matching SSN rather it is an ability they have to search in the database manually.
For reference, the account I had was already suspended. So maybe not a great example but it was an account I had from 2010, I paid the past due balance and started selling however it was linked to other accounts that got suspended around that time. I remember calling explaining to them I had no other accounts on eBay. This was with merchant support, and I was trying to get him to tell me what the accounts names were that were linked. What he did was tell me he would search but I needed to answer database questions, I did, and that is when he matched my information with an account from 2022. However this was not the original account linked that caused my restriction, it was other dormant accounts from 2010.
But once he linked me with 2022 account I was screwed either way so I gave up. It would be impossible to fix it at that point. |

I fully agree with what you’re saying. Now what was the link, did he link you with SSN, name or address. If you are linked with an account that got MC099, that is not good news, any other account that isn’t suspended is much more acceptable.
