How many account from 1 persons legit information?
 

I am taking the approach of starting to farm personal information from friends. I am paying them for their info plus a small % of profit on the account.....I am curious though?

How many accounts do you think you could get from 1 persons information??

I figure at least two accounts using their SSN and than attaching an EIN to the account? Maybe 1 more with completely different address, phone number ect...??

Right now I have at least 3 peoples info I can use and I want to stretch it out as much as possible.

Yeah, the IP wont matter because you are allowed to create multiple accounts.

No the IP matters, if making accounts with the same IP, the limits will continue to get lower.

You should space it out, as long as your business is actually legit, you can get away with it, incase of manuel review. If the biz isnt legit, you would want to pretend you are legit, until all accs are warmed up and pass manuel review time, 7-10 days id say.

Hmm so if someone is making accounts with the same details as other accounts, then weird that IP should make a difference.

And everything else is the same info apart from the email?

I tested this years ago - right on with the same IP...spacing them out timewise also helps

I am making a free eBook currently for this purpose! There needs to be a nice step by step for the basics, beginner friendly. It will be free and I will plug it for you guys when I am done.

I am in the process of doing this for Etsy too since there is a clear need for the encyclopedia of info and tricks I have accumulated after 20 stealth accounts and revenues upwards of 35k in one year.. wonder if theres any interest for that as well..Etsy is tough!

I tested same payoneer business account. Same info. Different user, different card, different phone number, new email, new sim different ISP.

Listed used headphones and results were awful $500 limits and 70 items. Forgot about it for like a week.

Logged in today limits on 2nd account 1k items and $50k just like first account.

Yes it seems they update limits probably after doing a few checks on your info...

Another uk account I opened also with low limits, updated to the same limits 1000 items and 40k pound

Also same info...same payoneer account

So there is no limit as to the amount of accounts one person can have

What will happen though if they are all linked is the selling limits can be shared across the account. This used to happen all the time on eBay - it happens less often now but it does still happen

Another issue you will face is if one account has an issue all the other accounts that that account is linked to can also have issues

For OP I forgot to give you my advice, if you are looking for longevity and getting the most out of your "PII" then start slow, one account at a time and modestly and slowly ramp up your listings as recommended here in the forums.

When and if you run into issues, you can go boot up the backup accounts you have made, etc

Just one account, made 35k profit, about 22k revenue over about -5 months until I started got alot of attention from budding competitors, threatening messages like "Been watching your shop, sir..bla bla" and Im sure my demise was hastened by angry competing shops.

Average was about 5-10 orders per week.

There has been a huge influx of sub-standard shops on Etsy thanks to youtube videos promoting the dropshipping and AI-digital product routes..which are saturated and high-risk..too many sellers disappointing Etsy shoppers, so the new algorithm/AI machine they launched is ruthless.

Of course I sell high value items and that carries its own risks. :bounce:

Ive Been messing around on eBay and Ive been able to make 5 accounts with new emails and IP's, strictly using my personal info and even the same address...new browsers and everything, Im not sure why I am still up and running on all accounts? =}-

In theory....probably. If issues come up on one account though they will probably come up on all accounts.

Technically yes, but I'd also be cautious because it's not that simple.

I'd say read around the forums more to see other people's experiences and troubles for doing this

I don't think this is true. I have spoke with the merchant support trying to fix an account that got suspended. He literally while on the phone searched my account from 2022 and linked me. Because I felt I needed that account, which I did not, I played his game by answering the database questions. I know better not to do that, and maybe that is needed but if you have a suspended account, you're linked via SSN. Whether or not they take time to search is another story.

The longer you wait in between suspensions better chance you have in it not being a problem but the idea they cannot find an account isn't true for USA.

Yes, single member LLC however my LLC is owned by a parent company. I am sure it differs for countries.

So your telling me that, if you have multiple LLC based ebay account, as you being the primary account holder, ebay has linked all those accounts together, did I get that right?

Every account has to have a beneficiary, I think you know that. It is not that the business accounts are the same it is the personal details like my name and SSN. I try to change the address, and name slightly but SSN is enough for anyone if they wanted too.

I don't think regular trust & safety checks this, if they did that with every account who has the time. But lets say you get restricted and someone suspected you for having another account, if they wanted too, they could find it. That's all I know as fact. At least for American accounts.

Im hoping for this as well. Both ebay and etsy are being bitches to me currently.
