Default Ebay BBE policy

I received a message from my customer stating he received the wrong plugs for his items with a bunch of exclamation marks !!!

I did rectify this but the next day I receive an email stating ebay will be introducing the BBE policy starting in December.

I'm curious if this was sent to me because they scanned that message or if the general ebay community also received this email?

It states the Bad Buyer Experience policy will be enacted starting 11 December 2023

It seems we are regressing back to the old days when eBay used negative feedback in your metrics, its now worse as they are using neutral feedback in this BBF as well. As we all know some people can not be kept happy and will leave negative feedback because they can.

I somehow think eBay just wants the corporate sellers like Amazon and will use this BBF as the excuse to suspend accounts of small personal selllers.

Just realised that BBE policy is listed under selling worldwide and no mentioned in the UK selling policy for domestic sales, or am I wrong?

Interesting, I find that immature entitled customers are the ones who use them the most.

I doubt it. I think they just happen to email people with it.

this applies to ebay export meaning that it will be affecting people who list on non-domestic ebay sites with item location that is non-domestic as well

most likely main impact will be on people listing on ebay.com with item location outside of major ebay countries

Thank God the negative feedback effecting your metrics is not coming back and this BBE policy is targeted to where it belongs.

eBay should be carefull with metric like this, they now a lot of buyers open the cases just to get item for free.

Around ~50% of my cases i know buyer get decent items with fast delivery, but they just open cases to get free labels.
