From my experience these accounts don't last long after creation or converting to seller

Are my laptop fingerprints blacklisted?
Any insight and experience on your end is much appreciated |

Maybe the problem is there ? |
Re: ALL New accounts getting Captcha Request I'm not a fan of using anti-detect browser - causes problem with cookies and reputation of user |

Re: ALL New accounts getting Captcha Request IP address? |
| solefoodbk | 03-04-2024 07:24 PM | Re: ALL New accounts getting Captcha Request This doesn't seem like a good setup, its good to build cookies on an account. |
| vesania | 03-05-2024 08:09 AM | Re: ALL New accounts getting Captcha Request Create them on mobile.
If you still get it, change some information on the email or password.
Like if I do a specific name with numbers 912 at the end. I will either add a couple more numbers and it will go through.
Same with password, try a different password if you get the captcha request.
CHange IP as well if you are getting hit when you try the above. |

Stop using anti detect / private browsers etc.
Really, just stick to the basics on the stealth guide . I've had 0 issues to date with it. |
| stealthnorris | 03-05-2024 03:34 PM | Re: ALL New accounts getting Captcha Request As shown in my post
I do all of the following:
anti detect browser
mozilla Incognito
Separate Use profiles
Separate Mac user
Its not just Anti detect. im even getting captcha in separate user accounts, real browsers. ( I use chrome and mozilla)
Its not IP since Im trying both socks5 and also my Verizon Mifi Device. |
| degsey69 | 03-05-2024 07:22 PM | Re: ALL New accounts getting Captcha Request The fact is no antidetect browsers, use a pc with sub accounts and ensure that the IP address used is based in the area of the account address. Also if your opening a personal account they will do a soft check for the name against the address. |

What helps is, change the email or change some characters on it and mix up some characters on the password while changing the IP.
It will eventually go through.
I got 3 mobile devices I use to create accounts and they all get it. BUt doing the above will eventually go through. |

| OldTom | 03-06-2024 12:14 PM | Re: ALL New accounts getting Captcha Request It gets said all too often but nobody seems to listen... look normal.
All these weird set-ups and proxies/V.P.N's just add to the triggering of bot algorithms.
In a simple, no fuss world, what is stopping you from using a new/formatted laptop, a regular browser and a normal internet connection or Mobile hotspot like any other 'regular joe' new seller would. |
| murdered_by_ebay | 03-06-2024 12:46 PM | Re: ALL New accounts getting Captcha Request captcha on new ebay accounts are frequent , more frequent than on older accounts because ebay want to make sure it is not opened by a bot so nothing special here
amazon for example have captcha on all new accounts too , this is because fraudsters use bots to circumvent the system , they mass open accounts knowing that some will always pass |

Never seen a captcha on any of my Amazon accounts, never.
As an aside, how do these 'bots' provide all the information, bank details, phone number etc etc etc required to open an Amazon account and assuming they were successful, avoid 2SV yet get hit with a catpcha?
Only time I've been hit with as captcha on ebay was when on holiday and using a foreign wifi, never had it when managing my accounts from the UK. |

Any insight and experience on your end is much appreciated | Personally I have been getting them for the last few years and I can say from personal experience it more often happens when using mobile ips from hotspots. It does not happen too often when I use home/residential Ips. Generally mobile ips are not 100% accurate with location being around the city you are targetting while residential home ips are.
If you are in the USA using a hotspot sometimes the Ips will be in your city or miles away from your city, but still in your state. This is what I believe triggers the captcha. On the other hand if you have home internet almost certainly it will give IP addresses in your city with the exception being something like Xfinitywifi that like hotspots will generally jump around from different cities, but still in your state. |

Conclusion is - this is some red flag or it is normal ? |

on buyer accounts there is a hard captcha every time on registration where some thinking may be needed to pass |

for ebay same thing , all accounts get captcha , on new accounts it is stronger as ebay want to prevent bots from opening accounts so nothing special here |
