Default FRORC002 eBay Account Inquiry

Hi, I tried to list one item last night but it wont let me. Right after that, I received this 2 emails:

MC011 Ebay Account Update - Action Needed

We've noticed some activity on your account, and we need your help in verifying some information. We're sorry for this inconvenience, but while we're working things out with you, you'll have limited access to your eBay account.

Depending on the situation, some of your listings may have been removed. Also, you may not be able to create new listings for certain items while this is being resolved.

Please look for a follow-up email in eBay messages; it should be arriving soon. That email will contain information on what you need to do next to help us remove the restriction on your account,

We appreciate your help in getting this resolved as quickly as we can.

FRORC002 eBay Account Inquiry:

Hello,

I tried to contact you today to verify some information on your eBay
account.

Your eBay account has been limited to allow us to confirm your identity
and review current business practices. Please reply to this e-mail with
a good time to reach you. If you have an alternate phone number, please
include that as well.

Thank you for your time. We look forward to hearing from you.

All my listings are still up and running as of right now. Should I email them back and talk to them on the phone? Any idea what verification they need from me? Thanks in advance.

I am not sure. I did not reply to the email. I bet they need me to fax some ID's which I dont have. I have 130 listings still up and running so far. I guess, I'll just wait what's going to happen next and move on.

I also have another stealth account which is 3 weeks old. I tried to list one today for the first time but it was removed right away and received a MCO17 Notice. I called them and they want me to fax them my ID, utility bills, and credit card statement.

Most likely an extremely high amount number of listings and/or high-risk items on a new account.

Yes it HIGHLY matters what you are selling. Also the amount of which you are selling. Listing hundreds of items on a newer account? That is just obvious what is going to happen.

I got one of the FRORC002 notices too. Usually I let my new accounts sit 3-6 months before I start selling. This account was only 2 months and 5 days old today and sold exactly 30 items before it got suspended. My guess is ...too many items sold, too quickly, on an account not yet 3 months old.

What also might be worth mentioning is that the suspension came right when the account jumped past $1000 in items sold. At $980 it was fine. After it went over $1000 in items sold ...suspended.

That would do it, Most of my accounts are at least 90 days and never less than 30. Even the ones that are over 3 months I still never list more than 1 or 2 items to start and gradually work my way up to 10. The only time I ever get suspended is if I don't handle customer complaints.

That was probably it. The account sold slightly over $1000. With 30 items sold (average $30 per item). Had 30 items listed too, with some sold and re-listed. 30x30 ...about $900 worth of items listed initially. Too much :(
