This can be true.
I will try to fight with ebay to remove this red flags :( | I don't think it is a traditional red flag like a strike but likely just AI algorithm which ebay reps can not influence
an option would be to sell cheaper items regularly , low risk low margin items , this way you would certainly have much better chances to avoid such problems
I suspect AI identifies your account as high risk as you only sell expensive high risk items at high prices and in low quantities |

Hello.
I have aged 5+ years and about 20+ feedbacks from branded items second hand sold. Some of them 10k+$
Now i list branded but cheap item 100$ and its third time since december when ebay remove listing as replica and gave me warings.
They whrite in email its AI decision.
How it can be ? Every single item goes under replica. | They did this with one of my high value listings.
It can arise from people reporting your listing most of the time, but if you are 100% adamant the item is authentic, contact ebay immediately and explain the situation, potentially provide proof of authenticity (e.g. receipts etc.), they will manually look into your case and if done correctly, will allow you to sell the item on their platform, potentially you may have to change a few details on the listing itself (e.g. say the item condition is in used/great condition, not brand new with tags in some cases). |
| agent006140 | 05-31-2026 05:00 PM | Re: Ebay AI is determinating each item as replica You said you gave your friend two Hermes items and they were sold with no problem.
So are you listing too many ? |
| agent006140 | 05-31-2026 05:44 PM | Re: Ebay AI is determinating each item as replica Ebay is known to buy an item from the seller, examine it and deem it is not as described,he/she will not file INAD,will not leave feedback, will not ask to return or complain, but you are being blacklisted.
I used to sell netsuke made of cowbone mxied with resin and look very nice ,someone bought a piece and warned me that we are not allowed to sell elephant ivory.
That person does not know ivory, real ivory from mammoth or elephant has distinct features resin cannot replicate.
So I explain to her the difference, and contnue selling them with no problem.
So if you think you have done nothing wrong, contact Ebay |

For example, if an item with a market value of thousands of dollars is priced at $100, the AI might consider it similar to a widespread counterfeit sales pattern, even if it is actually genuine. You can explicitly request "human verification." |

| agent006140 | 06-07-2026 01:40 PM | Re: Ebay AI is determinating each item as replica But why would someone sell an item worth thousands of dollars for $100,iif it is not an auction?
if not counterfeit, then it could be stolen goods, law enforcement,US customs are known to come to Ebay to look for stolen items, |
