There might be some threads still in existence - I don't tend to look at old posts - but you might be able to find details if you search forum

It was sad to see him go but he was done in by Managed Payments. The fact that he was one of the largest was his downfall.

I never really had an issue with MP, how did introducing that effect people?

There were a lot of delays in fulfillment as well - I did some business and I could tolerate the delay but lot of ppl had issues with it...rightly so

lol, sounds like you're getting defensive.

To answer both of you, MP made it a lot harder to create new accounts strong enough to not get immediately suspended. That's a recipe for disaster. Makes it hard to fill orders while also making customer service a nightmare for accounts already sold.

He was always slow to deliver, even back in the mid 2010s when I first dealt with him, but he did deliver.

Problem was by 2023 when I last dealt with him, he was promising things he couldn't deliver, and he'd take the money first.

I don't think he was really a scammer, was probably just a reseller who got let down by his suppliers in the end and couldn't keep up with ebay updates.

Unfortunately in this business you have to take a risk occasionally, and losing a bit of money is to be expected, still often works out cheaper in the long run than doing it yourself.

Don't risk more than you can afford to lose with any seller.

Every seller I've ever purchased from is loong gone.

Writing is on the wall for US sellers.

Are you referring to sellers which sell certain service on this forum or Ebay sellers in general?
Ebay sellers do come and go,they get tired of making so little for a lot of work, trying to find items to sell is a problem, they go to a garage sale and the seller has already researched on Ebay and mark the items accordingly.

Would explain why the cheaper accs vendors resell are getting banned more frequently I suppose

I'm talking about people who used to sell eBay accounts on this forum. All of the accounts I'm running today came from plumsake. I bought them as "high limit stealth accounts" then made them legit by adding an EIN.

I don't remember his name but there used to be a Canadian eBay account seller here that I bought 3 accounts from. I miss those days, a lot. I ran tens of thousands of dollars through those accounts without ever opening a Canadian bank account. I just used Paypal invoicing to transfer all the money to my US Paypal accounts. Always amazed me how seamlessly it worked.

Needless to say, managed payments put an end to that. It's probably not a stretch to say that kind of thing is exactly why managed payments even became a thing.

You guys dont take me seriously when I said sell baby diapers,
No one is going to sell gold cheap, but goldfill jewelry is worth some $$
Scrap dealers will buy them and send them to refinery to scrape the gold off,
take a 14K gold bangle weighing 30 grams, scrap value would be $2368 at spot price of 78.95 per grams.
For 14K goldfill bangle weighing 30 grams,it would be $169.
Avoid gold vermeil which is goldplated over silver, avoid rolled gold and goldplated .
Back in old days, people cant afford solid gold,so jeweler would use goldfill instead.

We lost quite a few quality sellers over time and not the scammers I'm referring too

This reads exactly like a billionaire who got bored, disguised themselves as a regular internet user, and decided to drop actual micro-cap market secrets for free just to see if any of us are smart enough to follow them to the yacht club.

Ok so perhaps you've taken a hit in recent years but you're definitely a high level multi-millionaire. People don't just stumble upon that kind of wisdom.
