EBay uk stealth + VAT

Hi I’m buying a few UK aged stealth accounts, however I intend to do more than the £85,000 VAT threshold. Since I’m attaching my UK business banks to them under the same LTD, would it be safe to add my VAT number to eBay? I’m new to stealth so this could definitely be a stupid question please let me know if it is😂

Anyone can lookup a GB VAT number and see which company/individual it belongs to.

I know. I am asking if it can be used on a stealth account safely or not.

I don't know, do you think there could be a downside to adding a unique identifier to more than one, supposedly, unconnected accounts?

Maybe there could be a downside to adding a VAT number that clearly doesn't belong the to the owner of the account.

Why don't you try and let us know how it goes.

So are you just registering new companies for each stealth and keeping each stealth under 85k? Since if your using the same company bank for each stealth then all the stores combined need to be under 85k to avoid triggering hmrc asking for VAT..

I am asking for people that are paying VAT, or what people are doing to avoid it like using multiple LTDs etc.

The VAT threshold is 90k, hasn't been 85k for years.

Keeping each eBay accounts sales under it is simply to avoid giving eBay a VAT number, nothing to do with HMRC.

Obviously if your business turnover is over the VAT threshold you need to register and pay VAT, you can't avoid this by running multiple companies.
