I recently got a policy violation for using a standard photo from the manufacturer(been so long I forgot lol). I took my own photo and uploaded it by "edit" the listing. What happens Now? It's been 24hours and nothing? Is this normal? Will it even reactivate the listing? It doesn't say how long it should take. Does a human review it?

Any time I get a violation where they give me a chance to "fix the issue", I end the listing and start over.
That said, I don't think it would take any longer than a day or two for eBay to review the revisions you've made. It says right there in the violation notice that if they approve of the changes you made to the listing, it will be made visible again.
But this doesnt work with counterfeit policy removals
if u just relist as new item it will be taken down in 24-48h again
It happened to me and I spoke to a rep, they said another team reviews it and should be back live within 24 - 72hrs, this is their general rule for most things.
This was a few months back, not sure now whether a human reviews it or an AI . Give it a couple of days then contact them.
