How many sales until SSN in 2026?

In 2024/2025 I got hit with ssn request within 600$ in sales. I was wondering is it still like that in 2026? Does anyone know in 2026 how many sales does it take to get hit with ssn or what when were you requested for it?

If I am not mistaken,Ebay will ask for SSN when you open an account,it wants to see the front and back of your SS card
