I think the only issue is finding someone who can actually look into this, because everything seems quite obvious, but no one is getting back to me. Since I don’t speak German, I can’t call and discuss it with them directly. I’m going to try calling and speaking in English, but I’m really waiting for a response to this last email because it was forwarded to a senior official, so I’m hoping that might finally lead to some action.

I made a €0.01 refund and took a screenshot because the final balance wasn’t showing. I thought it might be a technical issue, and I hoped making a small refund might help trigger or update the system somehow.

But now the balance is continuing from where it left off, and there is still no indication of where that money actually went. I find this very strange. At this point, it really seems like there may be a system issue — almost as if they attempted to send the money, but the transaction was somehow left incomplete.

if you mean you need to find someone at ebay to look into this it is unlikely to happen as they do not care. if they receive a letter from a german lawyer such a person will quickly appear but that aside they usually just keep the money and send standard messages

The only way to go from here is legal proceedings.

Gather all the evidence/proofs and file a small claims court order against them.

I had a different company once refuse to refund me, they closed my account and I had to go through the court process to get my money back.

Was tedious and took sometime, but I got my money back.

I do believe this has something to do with your location.

Take them to court, it's your only option now.

although I suspect the OP can not take legal action as he says it is a german ebay account directly withdrawing to wise. it looks like the OP is not a german resident , in this case legal action will not work

seems to be a typical case of failed verification when ebay could not verify details through SCHUFA in germany

Germany is probably the worst country to mess around with when it comes to regulations and verification. The fact that Wise was used makes me think there's little to no chance of recovering anything..

wise itself is not the issue but the guy is from outside the EU which would require the use of payoneer , since he is using wise directly this means it was a direct registration in germany with bogus or third party data

in this case lawyers won't be of any help as no court can order ebay to pay out to an account which is impossible to verify

Also, the products have already been delivered, and there is absolutely no issue with them. This has nothing to do with fraud. The only reason for the issue is that they were unable to verify my identity.

Ebay has overseas customer service at one time-Singapore,may be even Ireland,if so,try to see if you can call an oversea Ebay customer service rep

I am in Germany and i am using germany sim card with phone number, not about outside registered user. I send only Turkish passport. I sold items and delivered posible to verify with tracking codes and already 80 days left after sales. When balance on my account how will be remove without line on history?
