That being said, I have friends/family in Ger that used to use ebay.de normally, they had nothing but complications and decide not to use it.

I would steer clear from .de, wouldn't go near it not even with a bargepole.

---You did not tell us what products were you selling.just because it was delivered with no issue does not mean it is fine,brand name,Ebay vero ,police,customs office are known to buy a piece and take a closer look to see if it is counterfeit,illegal,stolen goods.
Often when police receives report there are breakin at warehouses,they will come to ebay and look for sellers in the vicinity selling similar goods,

Yep the point being it could be several different factors and maybe not 1 but several were breached, with these types of posts I've noticed OP's (not saying this op here is being dishonest) don't disclose everything 100%, so its hard to know exactly what went wrong..

Correct - not disclosing all the info makes it hard to completely understand the situation...GB used to talk about forum not having a crystal ball

If I were OP, I would stay on their necks and continue to email / call them until all the funds are released, I guess that's his only option, GL
