So these limits for certain categories, they make it so you only can choose 5 or 7 days for duration. 3 days is against policy according to ebay. I have 27 feedback, 4 year old account, but won't let me list these at 3 days. Do I need a specific feedback level thats higher or only powersellers can list at 1 day and 3 days for the category.
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
You're correct...eBay does blocking of 1 or 3 day auctions in high risk categories. Most powersellers w/top rated DSR are allowed 1 or 3 days as long as they've listed in that particular category before.
Doing a short listing also makes you more prone to scrutiny. Like you want the item to sell fast, as opposed to having the item sell what it's worth...
For example, a thief would want it to sell fast. Be patient, let your products get noticed.
i read your first post and i was going to say. i see so many lofty assumptions on here that people make. just cause someone posts a short listing does not mean their in a hurry or their a theif. their are alot of reasons someone could have. and just cause your in a hurry to sell an item doesnt make you a theif either. as for 3 day listings i just sold a high end item on a fairly new account with practically no feedback. i usually can do 3 day listings no matter what. however 1 day listings are another story, not sure why your having that issue ive never had it. i also have to disgree with the fact that ebay would interpret it that way, based on my own experiences cause i sell items all the time with 3 day listings on fairly new accounts and never have any issues. maybe you are doing something wrong or i just simply avoid this issue.
