Default 2010 Spring Seller Update - eBay increases fees again!

From what I see, eBay is increasing their fixed-price fees again, from $0.35 to $0.50 per listing. Plus, a lot more at:

It won't go up if you have a store subscription. It's only $.20 for the lowest one (Down $.15).

I have the $15.95 plan so I guess Yeah for ebay for lowering that part of the fixed price listing.

I actually see that this is the first time ebay Fee Change worked in my favor in saving fees instead of trying to milk more money from my profits in the past.

Yeah, but only if you have a store. So they basically force you to open a store and pay $15.95 a month, which equals the savings of 106 listings that they're supposedly giving you. So if you list less than 106 items a month, you're losing money with a store - and losing again with the fee hike from $0.35 to $0.50

There is a calculator to determine the best plan.

eBay.com : 2010 Spring Seller Update

I put in my numbers for my 2 accounts. My best bid is to close my store and run auctions. So, I have been working on my website, bonanzle and ecrater.

I already put a note with my website in my packages. But, I am stepping it up.

The husband has been wanting me to quit Ebay. Ebay just pushed me alittle closer.

I am considering an increase of my products. I am going to try it for the first month and see what happens.

Whatever eBay changes to .. there is only 1 thing in common.
The sale volume start free falling after the announcements made, and drag for quite some time till the changes really become stable. Year 2009 is a disaster, now this new fee change.
What eBay really does is wipe out all the previous setting (history) on all your current live listing and have them all start over with the new rules. Therefore, don't expect this new changes would bring you any advantages until it become stable ... maybe in June or July ... because they will find all bugs in this period and keep modifying them, and everytime they modify something, they wipe out your previous setting (history) on all your current live listing ... these resetings start over and over ....
