Hello,

In order to maintain a safe and secure online marketplace, eBay may
require additional verification from sellers from time to time.

If it is acceptable for you, I will ask you to asnwer the questions
below and then if I have further questions I will schedule a call.

answer

Our questions are listed below:

Where do you buy your items from?

Have you ever met your supplier?

Do you have a contract with supplier?

Have you pre-viewed these items prior to listing/selling them?

What shipping service do you use?

Do you have tracking numbers for items you sent to your buyers?

How do you process payments?

Does anybody help you with packing and shipping your items/ answering
emails? If yes, how many people help you?

How do you handle returns?

How do you plan to handle complaints?

Do you offer a warranty with items? If yes for how long?

Do you plan expanding your sales on eBay? If yes, do you have business
plan for future trading?

Have you ever owned/started a business before?

I hope I've explained everything clearly. If you need any more
information please get in touch.

Kind regards,

Maggie Zucker

An interesting email. I note that the email is an invite to complete the questions. I would be tempted to NOT take any action and let the "invite" expire.

I am in no doubt that replying to this will not get you any benefits, rather may subject you to further scrutiny.

However IF they were to take the step and call me my responses would be as follows:

Hello,

If it is acceptable for you, I will ask you to answer the questions
below and then if I have further questions I will schedule a call.

Our questions are listed below:

Where do you buy your items from?

Clearance sell out from a liquidation company (pick one available on the internet)

Have you ever met your supplier?

Yes, his name is Bob and he is a dead nice bloke.

Do you have a contract with supplier?

See above

Have you pre-viewed these items prior to listing/selling them?

Yes

What shipping service do you use?

Royal Mail First Class, Royal Mail First Class recorded, DHL, Fedex,

Do you have tracking numbers for items you sent to your buyers?

Some but not all depending on item value

How do you process payments?

Paypal

Does anybody help you with packing and shipping your items/ answering
emails? If yes, how many people help you?

No

How do you handle returns?

Inspect them and then repair as required and relist as found following the inspection.

How do you plan to handle complaints?

In a professional and timely manner

Do you offer a warranty with items? If yes for how long?

If there is a manufacturers warranty on item then I personally honour it.

Do you plan expanding your sales on eBay? If yes, do you have business
plan for future trading?

Yes

Have you ever owned/started a business before?

Yes

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In my opinion ebay is simply a platform in which we use to sell items and we pay quite high fees for this "platform" I would not feel the need to provide details about my business as its none of there business. If they dont like what I am doing then they can suspend me, but as far as having a 1 - 2 - 1 buddy chit chat with these clowns, in my opinion they can "go forth and multiply"

All responses are just basic replies. I would not be tempted to ever give away personal info.

Dont forget no matter how nice they may sound in an email or on the phone they will subject you to suspensions and limitation at the drop of a hat.

And I doubt they would have any qualms about passing on your information to other organisations despite privacy and data protection acts preventing this.
