I have a full time 9-5 job as well and cannot put as much time in eBay as I want to.

I make around $900-$1,100 extra per month. I know it's not much as some on here but it helps pay the bills.

I don't do wholesale because I don't know how to go about gettng it done so I just go to the local stores/outlets and buy my items at discounted prices and mark them up on eBay.

No, I do not sell counterfits, I never have, even when I was legit on eBay.

I look for hard to find household items, collectibles, beauty product that are in demand.

Modee, if you are trying to imply that I am selling counterfeit goods on eBay from your last message...Please don't jump the gun...I sell collectables.....

Lisa,

You need a tax ID. You can get one free, usually in an government center in the capital city of your state. Once you got that, you can purchase products wholesale. Go to flea markets offices and get a free news letter. You will be shocked by how low some prices are. However, what can be bought wholesale, is most likely aready on ebay so find products not sold there or there will be hella competition. I was one of the first to sale dub city diecast collectible cars on ebay. Wholesale cost was $6.00. I was selling on average $20 a piece. Then the wholesalers saw how good I was doing and they used buy it now for $10.99. No way I could compete considering they are the ones I bought from and their cost was probably $3.00.

411guru, yeah I generally have to go around trying to find stuff on eBay few people are selling. Once people start selling, the "wholesale" prices I am supposed to get things at becomes 2-3x what competitors are selling them on eBay.

It pays off doing in depth research to try and find a product that is either not available or has a small amount of sellers.

2 of my main products which i sell i am the number 1 seller in both of these categories and generally list the most of these products.

I have competitors in who sell the same thing, but i always seem to get a far better price and more action.

What I am confused about is that if you set up multiple ebay accounts and paypal accounts to match....how do you get around when paypal asks you to confirm your social? That has been my biggest problem so far setting up ⊗⊗⊗⊗ accounts. Also...do you set up multiple bank accounts to transfer the money to?

Hey all, Ive been selling on Ebay for a few years now and have made a grip of money and I am interested in hearing what you guys sell and how much on average are you making a week.

I sell DVDs, Used cell phones, and A few real estate courses me and a friend came up with and prior to the ebay changes I was making anywhere from 400-600 a week but now I am using a newer account and still building up slowly, and Im at about 300-500 a week.
