Question Buyer wants to pay with paypal

I have a paypal account but it is limited for ever " no longer do business with you". My question is if a buyer wants to pay with paypal will i have a problem with processing it thru my merchant account which can process paypal payments.

Also will the redflag me with ebay or payal . This is my real ebay account .

I Do not think you will have a problem with Buyers because they can still use their "Beloved" Paypal thru your merchant account, However, I tend to believe that somewhere down the Road you may have a Problem with your Ebay account simply because your Paypal account got shut down. I am Not really sure if Ebays requirement to offer Paypal as a Payment method to Buyers is satisified by a Merchant Account that simply Offers Paypal, Interesting Question, Maybee some of the other Members here can Offer a Little more Insight on this Question.

For an Older Account you should have No Problem at all....The type of Accounts that I was referrring to here were Newer ones, Opened with a Paypal account then Getting a Merchant account added to it as an additional method of payment, Then Losing the Paypal account after that, I was thinking that this was your situation, Older accounts (Before Nov 2007) Did NOT Require Paypal accounts at all.

I think ebay only requires a "safe" method for paying...i.e. the seller having some way of accepting a credit card payment so if there is a problem the buyer has a means to dispute it which they would be unable to do if they had paid via money order or Western Union.
A Merchant account meets that requirement as does a Paypal account

No problem, that is why we are all here to help each other, right,

By the way all you have to do is hit the "Thanks" button in the lower Right hand corner of this box instead of writing a "Thank you Post" its easier and faster.
