Linking An Account on Purpose?

What do you guys think...?

My girlfriend has never had any issues with ebay and is NOT suspended, never has been.

She recently opened a new ebay account in her name (0 feedback, 1 week old). When she told me, I reminded her that I had made an account for her, in her name also, a few years ago. She recovered the password and there is 8 positive feedback on the account.

She is thinking about starting to sell on ebay with the 2 accounts.

Since the old account account is about 4 years old w/ positive feedback, if she links the accounts on purpose (using the methods mentioned in this forum), do you think the new account will benefit in trust & safety issues from being associated with the old account?

Lol, I never heard of that before. It probably wouldn't be a good idea though.

If you link the accounts, and one account goes down.. the other account will go down too.

I don't think it's worth it.

Yeah you don't want to do that. Do both accounts have the same info? Name, number, address etc??

HI- I have done this, and Aspkin is 100% correct. They took BOTH accounts down, as well as the paypal i had linked to them..
