hi guys, would just like some advice, i have just finished my first stealth account, followed all the rules, just wondering though, does ebay still verify by phone, because i got no phone digit pin?
also when setting up ebay (which was done after paypal account and linking both) i didn't need to use vcc for verification - is that the norm?
any advice would be great

Yes, eBay verifies by phone...I use my1voice.com and it works 100%...I can call them (eBay & PP) from ANY phone and they see my listed # from my PP account!! It's great...I know because I did it with a suspended #...I set mine up doing PP first then setting up PP and linking...Some say, rightfully so, not to link your PP and eBay...
thanks for responding, i actually thought they would call with the 4 digit pin, but i rec'd no call!! and i didn't even need credit card info!! I had started with paypal then verified ebay through paypal, do you think that's the reason???
rosie posie and guys - you do not want to link your paypal to your ebay. Not for paying fees. The only reason you would not have to use your ebay vcc is if you clicked to pay fees using paypal. do not do that!
Verify with the vcc, and then put bank into paypal and link only to verify id for ebay. If u get shutdown ebay cannot take what u owe in fees from your paypal acct.
You could use google voice! =) It is free! You could also call from your phone and have the option to use the google number to call with. To do this you would need to have a android base phone to use the app. I don't know about iphone though since I have never used it.

@newtools, i actually didn't link to pay my fees through paypal, when i registered a new ebay account, i linked ebay to verify paypal (quite sure thats what i did), i was just surprised because in the past ebay would call with a 4 digit pin on home phone, i didn't recieve a call!

you won't get ebay to call until you list your 1st item to sell
you have to list item, then eBay has call me now: I use a trac phone with a Google voice number. I have noticed ebay asking for a bank acct after vcc, and phone pin on occasion.
I didn't know about this my1voice service and just signed up and talked to them it is SUPER!!! Much better then UTW. thanks for that info and thanks for sharing.
hi guys, newtools is correct, they verify after first item listed, they also do now ask bank account info!!! think i might try and set up a few extra stealth - just in case....
