So he gave me a link to a form.

either way, I don't care what his excuse is. I just want this neg removed.

I'm just surprised that this buyer can still leave any fgeedbacks
agree , no transaction ever happened, they should not be able to leave any feedback at all, I thought they were not able to any more, but guess not

still think sellers should be able to neg these buyers. I had a similar buyer that gave me neutral once, I didn't pursue it because it was neutral, but still!!!

By the time I decipher everything said in this thread, Ebay probably will have changed the rules anyway. I'd have better luck doing the New York Times crossword puzzle in 5 minutes, than trying to figure out Ebay's reasoning.

I usually just let my unpaid orders sit there for awhile and then just delete em, don't even waste my time with small change.

What I do with unpaid orders is wait a week then I go to the page for reasons to cancel orders and check: buyer changed mind... sometimes they rethink and pay or agree or ignore my request but I get my final value fee's back on being ignored or when they agree. I never leave strikes on non-payers.

I just got an email from eB. They removed it the neg left by this buyer.
This made my day. For once the good person wins the day

Hercules: Wait, if a buyer ignores the cancelation agreement, you still get the FVF back? I thought that that only happens if they click on agree?

When they disagree ebay tells them to pay up. If they don't, you get it back. The same with ignoring. It takes a week or so...

Some good advice there. Instead of a strike that likely pisses deadbeat off just cancel and let it ride.
