FeedBack matters less these days, although there are some people who still have this compulsion in their minds that "I'm taking a big risk on a new seller", but generally less people look at feedback and more just buy anyway.

aking, I don't think these things are that easy my friend. I mean, even if the list has legitimate suppliers, would they actually sell them to general public?

People don't realize that video game consoles do not generate any propfit for MS, Sony, or nintentdo. Most actually loose money on each unit sold. The profit is gained on software and peripherals. So there is NO magical wholesaler where you can get game systems at any decent price where you can expect a profit of more than 5 bucks, and that is if and only if you can find someone on ebay to pay full retail on a console that is not back ordered or in short supply. this guys is not going to last long selling this wholesale list. his feedback will suffer.

Bestbuy, walmart, none of those guys make any profit worth mentioning on game consoles.

Ha I just dont really see the difference between this and pictures. I mean what if someone put in the title "Xbox 360 Slim 8gb Two Games as A Picture" And put it for a bid and it gets to lets say $250. They then just ship a picture. Like I discussed in that thread I started about seeing people still selling pictures on eBay. As long as there describing what they are selling its fair game is what I am getting out of it. Not saying its right at all. I been dooped on eBay before and just now trying to figure out these peoples strategies so it wont happen again.

Smart idea yeah but how could you sleep at night. I mean if all of us forum members put our heads together I am sure we could take money from everyone on eBay and get away clean. But there are way to many good sellers on eBay. But for some reason we get kicked off while the scammers stay on! Thats why eBay is the way it is!

These kind of misleading auctions were gold way back in the early days of money orders and cheques ha - disgusting fraud stories.

They really are. But can you imagine how many people on eBay are making a good living doing this junk while we have a hard time even staying on eBay. Now that is a blow to the stomach.

But it is so true i used to sell wholesale lists back in the day, just put a picture of a flat screeen tv and sell them all day long at 20 bucks. I cant see anything wrong with it, i mean as long as it clearly states in the listing that you are buying a list then shame on you for not reading about what your buying.
