Hi, I had a buyer who sent me this message after they made the payment:

I would like to cancel my order, which I have just authorized payment on, due to trouble with my email confirmation notification, I suspect
delinquent activity on my account and am trying to resolve it. The automated help agent suggest for me to cantact you the seller and request you open a case to cancel the transaction and select the reason as "Buyer purchased the item my mistake or changed mind".
Your attention to this matter is greatly appreciated

Does this sound like a scam? I see the paypal payment on my account there but I am not sure what I should do?

Sounds legitimate to me.

I would immediately send the request and be GLAD I hadn't shipped it yet.

Then refund the payment through PayPal.

You will get your Final Value Fee back when they accept the request.

Seems fine. I get the occasional person asking for the order to be canceled. As long as you haven't sent the item out then it won't be a problem for you.
