I am not sure if you if you are talking to me but I have a Canadian eBay account. And I would never report my taxes to the gov. Stealing *******s.

I'm speaking to most USA customers where the new tax reporting rules are in affect. Keep in mind, with selling that much volume though, you still run a huge risk of a limitation.

ive called to lift my limits twice its not hard at all just a bunch of questions about what you sell where you get the items how much you plan to increase your sales etc

Not including Amazon...

Oh my.

I cannot imagine trying to log into 50 different accounts.

I knew you are very good at what you do, now I know you are.

It's not that easy.. They will ask you to verify identity against public records information, not easy if you have a stealth.

You guys still don't understand this... it's a good thing that selling limits are in place. Now you won't exceed tax reporting requirements, and you will stay under the radar. It's a different ball game now. You guys work SO MUCH HARDER THAN YOU HAVE TO.

What questions should i be prepared to answer?

I started a stealth a couple weeks ago, I thought I would start by listing a vhs tape(since I have many in good condition). I listed it, then 5 minutes later I got a notification saying I have reached my selling limits which was 0/0 and that I had to call ebay. they said my account is restricted until I do so. I was just wondering what type of questions I should be prepared to answer? thanks for any replies.

Being restricted and having to call and calling to raise limits are different sets of questions.

On the stealth accounts it is probably harder for you to verify information but we have called ebay several times to raise limits and it was fairly easy....ask what you sell, where you get your items, etc. We havent been hit with verifying public records yet but I am sure that may come eventually. Then again we have been limited once on ebay and twice on paypal and came back within one business day. Easier on legit accounts I would imagine, but definitely not impossible for any account. We are stuck at 50/5000 right now and were told we needed to talk to sellers vetting department....this may be when we need to verify public records. I didnt call back to speak with that department yet so I dont know.

Is your pp verified? Did you list right away? You sure you following stealth principles?

What code did you get MC999?

Aside for the Tax reporting element. If you call eBay they are going to ask you to fax Invoices and other information. I am assuming this is a stealth account. I would personally just wait it out. I never call eBay for anything. Especially on stealth accounts.
