ext with phone number help!!!!

for the new phone number they include an ext. can i use an ext with ebay i am not sure how this works all the phone companies offer an ext. i have my house phone never used with ebay but is register with my home address is this ok????

not all number companies offer an extension, some might, but majority dont. Yes you can use an extension for ebay, if a real person calls they will use it, automated calls can sometimes run in to trouble with extensions, due to prompt issues.
