Hi , this is my first post and my first MC019 , please i wonder if you can help.
the situation , i've been happly selling a the same item on ebay for some time , i have 6 of the same item running , all using similar titles , 2 different sets of graphics for the gallery picture.....but today one of the listings has been pulled by ebay (see below for full details) it was not pulled for Vero reasons (not mentioned in there email)
the thing i'm confused about , is that the 5 other listings where not pulled at the same time , infact i had not sold any items on that particular listing , although it was a relist of a listing....which i assume i have sold some of before......so i'm wondering why was this one removed , yet they have left the other 5 of the same listing running ?
All have the same listing text , all have very similar listing titles .
the one that was pulled , they left a identical listing of the same one running.
advice please ...
What should i do ??? leave the other 5 listings running.....or close them and then perhaps relist slightly different titles !?!? i dont want to lose my account and i have 4 others assicoated with this one account.....all in my name and all happily working...perhaps reword and relist on another account in a few weeks time ??
what made them take off just 1 listing and leave the rest !
heres what they sent me :-
MC019 eBay Listing Removed: Copyright Breach - Unauthorised Item (***********)
Dear **********my user name ***********,
Thank you for your recent listing on eBay.
Unfortunately, the following item(s) breached one or more of our policies and had to be removed from the site.
************************************************** **** item number and title *****************
Any associated fees have been credited to your account and any bidders on this item have been notified.
Why did we remove your listing?
You may not list unauthorised copies of media on our site because selling them is both illegal and against eBay policy. Unauthorised copies include (but are not limited to) backup, pirated, duplicated, or bootlegged copies of software, video games, music, films, television programs, photographs and books, both published and unpublished.
Copyright owners possess the exclusive right to reproduce their copyrighted work, to distribute copies of their copyrighted work, and to perform or display their copyrighted work publicly.
Guideline: If the product you are selling is a copy of another work that you aren't authorised to copy, don't list the item. Listing unauthorised copies of copyrighted material infringes upon the copyright of the rights owner.
This may include hard disks pre-loaded with unauthorised copies of media (including software, movies, or music). "Hard disk loading" occurs when software is loaded onto a computer, often as an incentive to increase the value, without an accompanying license agreement, manual, or documentation.
Photocopies of media (including books, textbook solution manuals and teacher's manuals) are not permitted on eBay.

We do this in order to keep the site safe for all members, and sometimes this means removing certain listings.
The next time you sell, you may be asked to take the tutorial, if it's required. Once you've completed it successfully, please review your alerts and messages in My eBay for any other possible concerns. If there are no other issues, you should be able to sell again.
Although there may be similar items currently listed on eBay, please be assured that your listings have not been targeted in any way. We review all listings that are reported to us by eBay members and participants in the VeRO (Verified Rights Owner) Programme, and we rely on these reports to help keep eBay a safe and reputable place to buy and sell.
We appreciate your membership of our community, so please keep in mind that repeatedly listing items that breach our policies may lead to the suspension of your account.
Here's what to do if you have further questions:
1) To find out more about our intellectual property policies and VeRO take eBay's brief tutorial by copying this link into a new browser window:

2) You may also find it useful to read the "Why eBay May Remove Your Listing" Help page by copying this link into a new browser window:

3) If your item was ended by the VeRO programme, and you think the listing was removed in error have a look at the rights owner's About Me page to review their infringement policies. Then, if you still think that your listing was removed in error, please contact the rights owner and let them know.
