So Spike, what are you selling these days? You mentioned a lot of stuff you have sold, are you working with something specific now?

pretty much 100% car parts right now. i have so much stuff warehoused it is ridiculous. i don't even really want to buy more stuff. but i can never turn down a good purchase. i see it as an investment.

OH and even mustangs have a little risidual value, however for the mustang its mostly sentimental value. GOT TO HAVE A CHEVY TO BE PROUD!

What all items do you guys sell? The ones that are high volume what do you sell? And the ones that are higher-end, what type of items do you sell? The reason I ask is I have been using the methods you mention before I found this site. I used the GC trick a long time ago, I never did the IP change, but i just went to libraries/universities/public places/etc and usually had decent success. But my items are high end (designer bags) and have a tendency to be under the microscope. I was thinking of switching to other items but was curious what you guys were moving.

Is there a way to do a search on or of ebay to see which items people are seeking? I think with Google there is a way to see what the most popular searches are. Is there someway to do this on ebay? I have someone who is ready to bankroll me. We would even set up a business with all legit info, bank account, etc. I have been listing a lot of stuff on ebay motors for someone else and there seems to be at least a couple G's profit on each item, the problem is that they are hard to come by and all I am getting is 100 bucks an item plus fees to do it and dealing with the guy is a pain.
Sounds like most people here have their niche and I wouldn't know enough to maximize any profits stepping on your toes, so if there are any ideas that you guys don't consider your thing, please share.
Also any good dropshipper or wholesale sources?

I wish i could find a niche, but anyway yes there is something on Ebay that allows to the wanted ads posted by users of Ebay. Just go tho the Ebay Site map and look for it because I cant remember the link. But I think its in sellers central..

You can also go to pulse.ebay.com they list the top ten searches.

Chris, a niche is hard to find unless you create your own item (Service). Every time I stumble across an item that I think may sell well, There are usually so many people already selling it. I just try to sell thing that are HOT at the moment.

I mostly sell old US coins.. I started when I was 16. I borrowed 25K from my dad and bought a huge lot of old coins and enslaved my 2 little brothers :) there was alot of dirty work

Problem i have is my items are so unique, only 1 other guy has them... I bought him out, now he wants back in. So, everytime I create a new acct- BINGO, he knows it has to be me.. So, in one aspect a unique item is good, but when you have a Jealous one out there, its a B***h.! :))

Hint-stay away from Lg Name Brands... Vero items. Ties up a lot of $ in inbentory + then hard to resell with 0 fb..

those can be hard to sell even with good feeback!
