Returned eBay Item
 

Hi,

I bought a cell phone from eBay seller in 24/12/2010 and received it 10/JAN/2011. It was DOA item so i contacted seller and then he told me to return the item. So i returned the item on 24/01/2011 and it was delivered on 10/02/2011 in destination country. Its been more than a month, but still i didn't received my exchanged item. I cant open a PP dispute because its been more than 45 days. Is there any chance that this could resolve via eBay?

Oh man - I would have opened a dispute right away to save yourself - especially this international shipping delays. Have you tried contacting him?

You might have more time on eb ay - maybe 60 days or it could be same as 45 days - try it and report back.

Sorry to hear this but best shot is to pepper the seller.

This type of bullsh*t DOA happened to me on the last 2 cellphones I purchased from Egay. In both cases, the crooked sellers never refunded my money even though tracking clearly showed returned item was delivered. So I opened a Pa yPal dispute and neither of them even responded. But Pa yPal gave me back the money.

I never buy cell phones from unreputable sellers anymore on Egay. First they screw you with a DOA phone. Then they screw you a second time by not refunding back your money.

One of the sellers even accused me of swapping out his phone with a defective one and told me "sale is final, no refunds and keep the sh*t" . I went ahead and returned it back to the return address anyways.

Always get that Pa yPal dispute in before the 45th day arrives.
