it was about 8 days out. Got a message today it was received but the buyer had to pay extra postage because it was over weight. She was pissed, so i refunded almost all her money. Hopefully she won't leave neg. feedback. What are some typical situations where you would refund the money though? Thanks for your replys.

Another thing, this woman is contacting me a month and a half later saying she's not satisfied with her purchase. She's been a lunatic from start to stop about the whole thing, ive kind of said ok i will make it up to her, but she keeps sending me her phone number and i just want to resolve through email. I dont want to call and talk to this woman ARGH!

Call and talk, it is the best thing to do, if you want to save your account from limits.

As she sounds like she is going to leave negative feedback. Emails often to do not cut it in situations like this.

Is this an expensive item or cheap item?

Don't forget to block the bidder from future auctions.

Another gem from rsot!

Thanked

I will just have to make this routine so I do not forget to do it, will stop these buyers from coming back to get more freebies.

As long as they don't just create another e Bay account

:D

Werd, thanks for your replys. I finally talked to her on the phone. I did kind of screw up on the listing, not including everything that was in the photo, and she seems like quite a nice lady. She's claiming going through health problems etc, so i said she can pick out some free stuff and ill send it to her. It was a 40 dollar sale. She seems nice. Thanks for your help.

Just be very careful. I got scammed by woman who was real nice before she got her merchandise. Practically emailed me every day about her life story and how she is a disabled veteran with lots of health problems.

After the merchandise arrives, they make up some story that the box is all smashed, item is all damaged, not new, etc. Then they will give you a sob story about being in a wheelchair and not being able to go to the post office to return it. And since it was not a real expensive item, I went ahead and refunded her without asking her to return it because she seemed so distraught over the incident

After she gets her refund, she leaves a negative feedback acting like she's the victim through the whole ordeal.
